Epiphone(エピフォン)は長い歴史を持つギターブランドです。
現在はGibsonの廉価版ブランドのような位置づけですが、それでもそのクオリティの高さからファンは少なくありません。

本モデルはバイオリンのような形をした、フレットレスのEB-1です。
珍しいですね。

マホガニーボディ、マホガニーネック、ローズウッド指板。

ぶっといロックな、ジャイアンみたいな音が出ます。
ベースに求められる音域を満遍なくカバーしてくれます。

トラスロッドの動作は良好です。
ネックの状態はハイ起きとローフレット側で逆反りの波打ちあります。現状12フレット上の弦高で1弦側3.5mm、4弦側4.0mmで音詰まりやビリつきはなく演奏可能です。塗膜のくすみや擦れて艶が出ている箇所が多数あります。1フレット付近のグリップには8mmほどの打痕があります。
ボディや塗装面の状態は、塗膜のくすみや擦れて艶が出ている箇所が多数あります。スクラッチ傷と小さな打痕が散見されます。ボディトップにブリッジ位置が交換された下穴の跡があります。現在はオリジナルと同じ位置にブリッジが取り付けされています。コントロール付近にやすりで塗膜を削った跡があります。
電装系の状態は、良好です。
エンドピンの下穴が補修された跡があります。ピックガードとロッドカバーは欠品しています。
